Born in Oberschwaben (“Upper Swabia”), grown up in Baden, living in Stuttgart since 2000. Besides his job as IT consultant, he is socially and politically engaged in the city life. Loves swabian food and likes to show visitors the Stuttgart you can´t find in travel guides.
Born in Stuttgart, grown up in a village in the region. Since a few years at home in Stuttgart-Süd – close to the action and still no long way into the green. I like the big stories of my home town, but even more the small details. Stuttgart has a lot to offer, day and night. But the view beyond the horizon is also important to me: Travelling is my passion, just go and drift along. That´s how I also explored “my” Stuttgart – and love to share it with you.
Stuttgarter from his first hour on. He knows amazing places in the whole city. As a construction engineer, he´s interested interested in urban development, architecture and current projects like Stuttgart21. He loves the vegan kitchen and knows nice vegan restaurants. Alex also likes to show Stuttgart to you, combined with sport and nature and a refreshing tour end in one of Stuttgart´s beautiful beer gardens.
Born in Cannstatt, grown up in Zuffenhausen. Escaped to Bonn in his teen years, however ruefully returned to his home town Stuttgart. He loves the city as you love your siblings. Sometimes you want to wring their neck, but when it matters you stand so close that not even a cigarette paper would fit in between. Engaged in many ways, he likes to guide visitors to the threated places – places shaping the face of the city, but unfortunately often fall victim to the substitutability of big cities. In addition, he likes to follow the footsteps of Stuttgarts history and policits. As an enthusiastic vegan, he shows his guests that Stuttgart has more to offer than meat dishes.
Stuttgart is my second love since 1969. Architecture, art, local history and especially fountains won my heart, explored in many city walks. Thousands of pictures testify.
Currently I am involved in the project “Documentation of small monuments” of the state agency which protects historic monuments and the “Verschönerungsverein Stuttgart”.
at the border between Stuttgart and ist suburb Bad Cannstatt, home oft he football club „VfB Stuttgart“, to which I´m still connected. The first two decades of my life I have lived in many places; after finishing school I lived in London for a year. Since 2007 back to Stuttgart – and because of my job I do not only have a private, but also a journalistic view on the city and have discovered many new places.
